we used to eat these big ice creams in cuba, used lots of cream. most dominica patrons were male but a few foreign women venturing to the famous establishment in the company of men from the court. one of these women was my grandmother, merced moynihan. in la dominica, one of the best cafes in the world, located on oreilly street, where my grandparents met. ticket to ride, i talk about my family history but after they marry -- i am reading a little from the book -- my grandparents were at the center of many fascinating things. i found myself at el centro, the literary and musical gatherings. their house on calle mercades became a cultural cross roads with the traffic of foreigners created a new inspired geography. they travel everywhere. my grandmother, merced, nina played the piano and read poems, while edward read the poems besides playing the fiddle and violin, behaved like an avant garde composer, moving around furniture. according to the journalist were a dynamic duo that rescued the famous hotel sevilla from dereliction in 1919. they also cons

and although i've seen her once before, the big time i saw her was when i had the first tech writing accident in the my back and was unconscious for a while. as a kid, for chile part of overcoming out with not believing the doctors and a side you should be glad you can walk. you are lucky you weren't dead. oh yeah, sure, but i wanted to do more. we kept going. finally had to go to the chiropractor to find somebody that said maybe exercise is okay. maybe you can try jogging. yeah, maybe you could use that to strength in your back. i latched onto god and that is when i got into dance team chemistry living in the which an escape --a physical escape. i felt great. i got my body back. and then just as you start to feel good, life has a tendency sometimes to thought you back down. it is happening to me. i had some fun times, cheerleading, i'm sure there's not a lot of people out there i would even admit that they were trying to clean if they [laughter] while to us. and you know what, i would have rather two minute track here. i thought a tractor queen is good. i'm queen of the track truce.

and the big weather story is a warm up if you roll into the bay area weekend. so i mentioned this last week when it rained, i'm just glad it didn't rain this weekend. we got a little rain tuesday, it's great it's over the weekend. this weekend looks like it's going to be the nicest week epd weekend we've seen in a while. we saw a little bit of it today. we're looking for temperatures tomorrow to be warmer. temperatures on saturday and sunday are warmer still. right now the hottest day will probably be sunday with temperatures moving toward 70 degrees. we had the rain, that's good. it's going to heat up it's going to dry up but i have to tell you that rain helps quite a bit as you go into this holiday weekend which is traditionally a very scary fire weekend. fourth of july is really hot, but we're wet right now so that helps out. much better than we would have been without that inch of rain. fore what's for the fog is at the coast. like i said it peels back and look that the, big strong winds are going to sheer it right off the coast and you have a nice day out
